Various trainings such as Organizational Development Training, Overseas Family Circle promotion, and Info-Caravan on Integration and Membership Promotion were successfully accomplished for the OFW and their families in Iriga on March 17.
These trainings aim to teach its beneficiaries with basic entrepreneurial skills like financial management. and to give them insights about the employment opportunities, income generating business, in-demand skills, and agri-business projects.
Moreover, government agencies like Department of Trade and Industry, Philippine National Police – Iriga, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Department of Labor and Employment, and Department Agriculture have joined the event.
This event was realized through the initiative of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration in partnership with the City Government of Iriga and though the effort of Public Employment Service Office.
