One brand-new fire truck is set to arrive in the city of Iriga on Friday, January 28.
The said fire truck was virtually accepted by the City Government of Iriga and the Bureau of Fire and Protection via virtual turn-over ceremony.
Alongside with Fire Senior Inspector Gary D. Francisco who was present during the ceremony, City Mayor Madellaine Alfelor also attended personally as she thanked Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya – who promised the said new fire truck to Irigueños – and DILG Secretary Eduardo Año.
Meanwhile, another new patient transport vehicle is expected to arrive in the city next week, February 4.
