Irigueño John Andre Aguja is making waves in the cycling world as he secures a spot in the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) rankings for the Men Junior Category. With an impressive rank of 84, John Andre is one of the two Filipinos who managed to enter in the Men Junior rankings. John Andre competed and won 1st Place in the Thailand MTB Cup last March 1-2, 2023 and Coupe du Japon MTB Championship in Japan last May 28, 2023.
Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is the world governing body for sports cycling recognized by the International Olympic Committee. Being included in the UCI rankings is a huge achievement for any cyclist.
