𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗕𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗛𝗬𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗡 𝗦𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗦, 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗦𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗭𝗘𝗥𝗦
A total of 484 farmers from Iriga benefited from the City Government of Iriga’s mass distribution of palay seeds, corn seeds, and fertilizer, which is a combined worth of P2,262,800 agricultural resources.
The distribution covered a range of barangays. Corn seeds were distributed to farmers in the following areas: San Rafael, Cristo Rey, San Ramon, Sagrada, Niño Jesus, San Pedro, Sta. Maria, Sta. Teresita, Sta. Isabel, San Vicente Norte, Sta. Cruz Norte, Perpetual Help, and San Isidro. Palay seeds, on the other hand, were provided to farmers in San Ramon and Cristo Rey.
This program is in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture which aims to equip farmers with the necessary resources, enhance agricultural productivity and empower farmers of the City.
